  1. I have been a Bob Dylan fan since I was a junior in high school where his songs were a healing balm to c my broken hearts and a poetic commentary for me to bounce my life off of to the present day. This album came out when I was in my mid 30's (I am now almost 64 years old). The best songs are Under the Red Sky, Born in Time and God knows/5(97).

  3. Dylan followed Oh Mercy, his most critically acclaimed album in years, with Under the Red Sky, a record that seemed like a conscious recoil from that album's depth and talitcompsapostreathighdeadguterconscomp.coinfo signing Don Was, the king of mature retro-rock, as producer, he guaranteed that the record would be lean and direct, which is perhaps exactly what this collection of simplistic songs deserves.
  4. God Knows Lyrics: God knows you ain’t pretty / God knows it’s true / God knows there ain’t anybody / Ever gonna take the place of you / God knows it’s a struggle / God knows it’s a crime.

And they lived in an alley under the red sky There was a little boy and there was a little girl And they lived in an alley under the red sky There was an old man and he lived in the moon One summer’s day he came passing by There was an old man and he lived in the moon And one day he came passing by Someday little girl, everything for you is.
